The local marina is getting an upgrade and we had to find a new mooring for Heart of Gold. Beautiful weather here in Aus so we sailed 50nm north, sharing the journey with LOADS of humpback whales, terns and sea life. The first couple of Aha! moments using Nostr. 1. Receiving a zap from a stranger. Straight up nothing else like it on the net. Beats a ‘like’ by far. 2. Logging into a different client and finding all your data there. This is the future, so good not having to respond to messages across many different platforms. 3. Every time you’re using Nostr you’re strengthening the BTC network through shared experience. Secondary layers on top of sound money make sense. 4. It feels like the early days of BTC, still a little clunky and there’s a bit of tech involved, but that’s how you know you’re early.
