You guys!! Tape your mouth when you sleep!! Nasal breathing is really important! Nasal breathing promotes the production and delivery of nitric oxide, a gas with antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties (!!) And… you gotta HUM! Humming increases nasal nitric oxide (NO) production through mechanical oscillation of air in the paranasal sinuses. It flushes NO into the nasal passage, resulting in a 15- to 20-fold increase in nasal NO levels compared to quiet breathing!
