I would like to follow more people on Nostr that meet any of the following conditions:
If you are:
⚡️ a ham radio operator
⚡️ interested in getting into ham radio
⚡️ a mesh node operator
⚡️ a CB’er
⚡️ a GMRS user
⚡️ a dev that does work on radio related software or hardware
If you ever do posts about:
⚡️ ham radio
⚡️ radio hacking / security
⚡️ radio protocols
⚡️ radio hardware

Reply in the chat if you know anyone that I should follow.
Also, please try to use relevant hashtags like #hamradio #radio or #meshtastic etc or tag with my user name @HR4BTC aka HamRadio4Bitcoin . I like to repost and zap radio related content on nostr and the tags help me find it.

Always interested.
Best I can do is repost. But definitely a community I want to see thrive on nostr:)
I'm not really any of these (I do have a old CB I use on occasion while traveling). But, this is stuff that interests me.
Always interested.
Dreaming of merging Nostr and #Reticulum development
#hamradio general operator here, also have #GMRS licence and a few #meshtastic nodes.
@AverageGary 👀
I would like to follow the same type of people as well ❤️.
I am looking to find any interesting nets some one would suggest checking out. Or other places to learn more ham radio skills.
ham interested here
Have radios, have the course, was JUST talking to my husband about doing it and saw this post.. it’s a sign! 😂
Radio airwaves were a pre internet passion for me, everything related with mesh radio or radio transmitted data is very important, so I start following you, thanks for your initiative.
I think you may follow me already? 🙂
Planning on getting my ham licence soon, just need to do the exam.
User of Meshtastic. Looking to setup mesh network around my local city. Testing use in SAR for quick and easy field comms deployment in hilly terrain.
User of mobile and handheld radios for work and SAR. Baofeng user.
Interested in learning more about bitcoin/lightning/cashu payments over meshtastic or ham radio for local payments without internet or with limited internet.
I love how specific this post is…! I don’t necessarily fit what your looking for, I don’t even know what “ham radio” is
But I am intrigued. As a podcast host, with a bitcoin allocation, and an ethical interest in sovereignty, I am always looking for innovation to build new things with
Ie how can we make sure our entire content stack is not censorable?
#hamradio and #meshtastic here 👌
I’d love to learn more and get my license.
I like the idea of mesh radio and I use cb, is that enough? 😂

interested in being a node on this.
i'm very interested in space weather and countermeasures and how to survive without electricity or under much more difficult conditions of high ingress of electrons from space, and of course if it's possible to build radio tech that can survive a heavy radio pulse

In a previous life I was a #signaller in the CRE & In another previous life a Lifeboat man & used radio extensively in both. I am now really interested in the possibilities of using secure #radio as a back up communication network for our facilities should and more accurately when our inter webs goes down.. I know nothing about #meshtastic. I am super interested to learn more about how it can be used in the #btc and #nostrverse
Own a ham radio, in dire need of a better understanding of it. I literally only use it when off-roading to communicate
Maybe this needs a topic-relay? 👀👀 :)
I would like to know more… I do not know anything about ham radio at the moment…
@NVK 🌞⚡️ is who you should follow.

I do use meshtastic and looking into getting my ham license in 25. Only post cats though

Hi there. I'm HAM radio operator, but I just use it on my sailing vessel with a PACTOR modem in order to download METEO. Willing to learn more.
Currently in Venezuela.
hi, i am a radio nerd
Hamming along 🫡🚀📡📻

Mesh node operator and GMRS user here
I packaged up the meshtastic web client for start9 and have a cb in my truck. I think I'm less interested in ham radio but want to build a reticulum network across my farm
I have a license, but I’ve been away from Nostr for a while. I’m going to try to be more involved again.
I just posted about this early today:
#reticulum #nostr #development
Here's one for #asknostr: Filed in https://github.com/greenart7c3/Citrine/issues/61.
I run #Citrine on my phone (Thank-you!!!) and also run a personal nostr relay (strfry) on my VPS so that I have two locations for all my notes. These are entirely dependent on the commercial internet however. I also run a program called #Sideband which connects to the #Reticulum network using a locally hosted transport router for Reticulum. How feasible/difficult would it be to add support in Citrine to publish/interact with my local Reticulum transport? The Reticulum transport has a lot of options: Reticulum Interfaces. Such a feature would make nostr over Reticulum possible in areas where commercial internet is unavailable (#disaster/#censorship).
