A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown. Jesus couldn’t get very far with folks in his town because they were too familiar with him. Isn’t this Joseph’s son, they asked. Don’t we know his brothers and sisters? It seems odd to me, cause if you knew Jesus you would know he’s different – he never sinned!
