"CR" for short. Edited "Kicking the Hornet's Nest" (everything Satoshi wrote publicly in chronological order). Made the Nostr Wiki at https://nostrwiki.vercel.app and Nostr bridges: Nostrdon (with Mastodon) & Hostr (with Hive). Home page: https://crrdlx.vercel.app

For just the summer fun of it, my wife and I are considering the Merlin app and having a little who-can-log-the-most-birds birding competition.

My Actifit Report Card: May 28 2026 image I'm trying really hard to get into this book and enjoy this book. But I'm struggling to do so. My father really enjoyed it, but there's something about it that I'mnot connecting with. In part its the content, but more so it'... Bridged via Hostr at Read the original at

Somehow I feel these bitcoin pullbacks are really healthy, like rest days amid periods of working out hard.

I'm liking what Firefox has been doing of late, but this "fox" looks too much like a cat. Shade that tail from your field a vision, that's a cat. (Disclaimer: dogs rule.) image #dogs not #cats

I think I'd prefer the pope stuck to quoting the Bible rather than Tolkien.

Tinfoil hat conspiracy theory for fun... Satoshi was on the editorial board of "The Times" or privy to someone high up who was, got wind of the headline or wrote it himself, then embedded the timestamp into the Genesis block prior to Jan. 3, 2009, maybe on Jan. 1 or 2. In reply to: #bitcoin

Memorial Day in the US. Years back I had a chance to go up in this B-24, kind of a flying museum. It was the last B-24 still flying. It fell through at the last minute though and we didn't go up. Now, the plane is grounded because in 2019 its traveling buddy B-17 crashed and the WWII planes were deemed unsafe. Dang. image

This is actually hilarious. Bernie Sanders, of all people, is questioning "where will all that money come from?" Hah! At least Elon's point makes economic sense - increased productivity and efficiency offsets increased money supply and inflation (though I do not agree that AI will continually be that ridiculously productive). Sanders finally agrees that money cannot infinitely be passed out in printed government checks and still hold value. https://beincrypto.com/sanders-musk-universal-high-income-funding/

For the second time in a year or two the printing company upped their fee for printing "Kicking the Hornet's Nest", forcing me to up the retail price in turn. I don't blame them, I'm sure their costs have indeed risen. I just fail to see why 2% inflation is okay. Of course, we've been above that stated target rate for years, but even 2% is at least 2% too much. #economics #inflation image

Quantum computing and bitcoin - making my call right here and now Depending on who you listen to, the "quantum threat" to bitcoin is either (a) purely FUD to be ignored, or (b) an inevitable truth that's coming with the when? as the only question, such as in five-ish or ten-ish years out (2030-2040). I'm making my call right now... Bridged via Hostr at This is a long form post, read the full article at
