Is he using Crypto Anarchist as a slur? 😂
Only 2 years ago, Canadian gov seizing and freezing accounts plus the super shady doxxing of donors on top... waiting for the 'muricans to do waaaaaay more than this when the rubber meets the road... Hope all you devs are readying preemptive soft forks candidates for when the time comes... Thanks in advance!!
Either this is a gross AI caricature of Saylor's selfishness and inability to fully grasp why #Bitcoin matters to the world, or he's an even bigger cunt than I thought. Regardless, #Saylor never seems to care about anything beyond "number go up", and Bitcoin simply doesn't work that way. You cannot take self #custody, #privacy, #uncensorable #MoE, etc. out of the equation. Period. Or you can kiss Bitcoin goodbye. A ₿rother just saw that video. He nailed it: "He keeps saying "Paranoid Crypto Anarchists" as if it's an insult or something" 😂 👏 💯 It's an understatement to say that "Bitcoiners" still simping for this TradFi boomer in 2024 have lost their way, and will almost certainly lose whatever Bitcoin they think they own (for those who actually hold their keys). Good morning! 😊

He chose to trust Fidelity. He's not obliged to learn by history, nor obliged to verify. Good luck! I don't think we will see him using nostr either. He still trusts centralized solutions! Don't trust, verify!

How's he going to sell bitcoin to wall st if he's associated with crypto anarchists? Time to pivot
I've been saying this for years. Saylor, Trump, Thiel, etc are not on our side. They do not want a Bitcoin revolution. They want a bitcoin backed dollar, with KYC and AML, they hate self custody, they hate privacy, they hate freedom. We must not let these people dictate Bitcoin policy or they'll turn it into a CBDC.

I am a firm believer in the old adage "it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and prove it." That being said, Saylor needs to open a dang history book. Even the ones offering a whitewashed version of history would tell him that the people DID NOT willingly give their gold to the government. They gave their cans and nylon pantyhose willingly, not their gold. Not their value. Not their worth. It was taken by a government mandate. Saylor fanboys, come get your leader. He's lying.

lol to a you clowns who think any of these “personalities” give an actual fuck about your perceived narrative. Bitcoin literally keeps on ticking and does not give a fuck.
Well, it's in line with how he talks. It does not come as a surprise to me at all. In how far it is Machiavellian talk to appease his Wallstreet friends I don't know.
Saylor made some incredible points here at the risk of personal reputation, thats the most respectable thing hes ever done even if you personally disagree with his opinion. Clearly he was lying about being a Bitcoin maximalist, only no one was able to call him out on it. Total check mate by Michael Saylor over the Bitcoin maximalist community View quoted note →
Can we ask Saylor which gold holders held onto their gold post E.O. 6102? The paranoid gold holders with gold in safes/buried or the custodial customers?
He seems frustrated. All those stupid paranoid crypto anarchists getting scammed by Hardware wallet vendors. 🤷🏻‍♂️
😂 He’s free to do what he wishes with his stack and to trust whomever he likes. That’s the beauty of it.
The fact that he always has a coke in hand has been my cue from day one to have one in mind and that he is probably not to be fully trusted... doesn't mean he hasn't had some brilliant takes... most sociopathic charismatic figures on the podium do.
M. Saylor lied on the executive order in 1933 for gold. The order was an obligation, if you don’t comply, it was a crime, as written a penalties of $10k or 10 years imprisonment or both... Saylor commited a big mistake, what a shame image

Where are my old notes 🗒️ Can’t find them regarding him so I’ll just leave this here for others … Drugging others Mentally abusing them Having your friends do the same It’s literally mental torture on humans. The amount of beautiful people in the world who are destroyed daily is astounding. Then you allow others to do it online and IRL as some type of social experiment? Initiation? Gross 🤢 behavior & negligence on the ones who believe you have to act like ( ignorant ) fraternity brothers to be a part of #bitcoin There is darkness & corruption worldwide. My heart goes out to humanity. I’ll never stop supporting others.

Yeah, a lot of "fear mongering" we grew up turned up to be true. The world isn't rainbows and butterflies. Get out of here, you say you're a maximalist, but you only pose as one.

Is he shittalking satoshi? Someone should punch saylor in the face
Funny you should say that. 30 seconds into the video I was thinking about a kick in the head would be proper. It's nice to see the diversification in actions tho. And people say bitcoiners are all the same... 🤭
Saylor should have known that all paranoid crypto anarchists are different 🤭
Yes. Hi Mike. Were you able to speak to the CEO? What’s his updated stance on paranoia? image
Take the family on vacation, you’ve earned it. We’ll hold the fort while you’re away. The new guy “Craig” says he’s got this new coin that fixes Bitcoin. Seems promising 😂

FTFY: "Paranoid crypto anarchists are the solution." Saylor already knows this. He's done the math. He just can't say it while he's playing in the tradfi pool. What would happen to him and his company if he came out and said he was trying to destroy the dollar? He probably also wants to avoid the serious pain that would come from a quick or sudden demonetization of the dollar. Most people just aren't ready, so it makes sense to take things slow. I don't know if the dollar can be the first fiat in history to end in an orderly fashion, but I hope it can. I do know that all fiat ends, and so does Saylor.
“This politician knows that inflation and taxes are theft. He just can’t say it while he’s playing the political game.” Same energy

Some of his points are valid, but I'm okay spending the little money that I did on a hardware wallet vs giving control of every goddamn sat I have to someone else. I don't feel like the loser in that trade.

fair play to him, hes fleeced a lot of people. but wait until the mob with the pitchforks come after him once they realise. is he hoping to use solana to cover his btc positions 😅
that woman seemed sort of off to me when i watched it.. and saylor saying "crypto anarchists" didn't seem natural. plus, he has been equally skeptical about governments before, and i think he has previously talked a lot about self-custody... this smells
The fucking idiots are the bitcoiners that glorify him. I will never forget last year at btc Prague the huge crowd who gathered around Saylor while uncle Rockstar was roaming free and devoid of crowd

The shift from 'hold your own keys' to 'crypto anarchists' is the tell. Once the strategy becomes corporate treasury plays, self-custody starts looking like a liability instead of a feature. Follow the incentives.
Old post lol. Yeah, watching again it seems off. I think I was asking in earnest too at the time. Saylor is a lying liar when it comes to proof of reserves being unsafe, so who knows ... maybe he would say something like this (still seems more unlikely than not to me though).
More confusing to me if it's not though. Why would he dismiss self custody like that? Makes no sense if you're bullish BTC. That's like day 1 realization

More than half of the reason I'm into Bitcoin is because it's made of math that some fucking company can't relieve me of. Even the corporations that we willingly patronize methodically fuck us over one dollar at a time and we take it. If there's a chance for me to stop them, I'm doing it.

Do you know who the interviewer is? I would like to listen to that one. Always refreshing when someone asks him actual questions instead of the normal fluff.
He's talking to normies and to statists and to the state agents. He's playing a Machiavellian game with them. He wants to remain in their good graces and prevent the state growing suspicious and jealous of his company. He's sneaking Bitcoin in and trying to preserve his status as relatively untouched by the state. It may actually be a defense. It is also possible (and probable) that he is ideologically captured and believes that governments are indeed inevitable and that you can keep the state on your side indefinitely without it usurping your industry.

not paranoid exactly, just think open protocols matter more than we admit. saw too many friends locked into closed platforms that changed overnight. what draws you to ask?
