My assumption regarding the implementation of Bluetooth was (unfortunately) wrong. The new Weave interface is for adding other radio devices in the 2.4GHz band using the OpenWeave Protocol (former Google Nest) with cheap development boards. First new commits on Github for #reticulum and #sideband since July. 🎇It seems that Mark Qvist has at least taken a break from his sabbatical. 📆 New interface for Weave protocol. My assumption: This is the base for integrating Bluetooth into Reticulum networks, so that Reticulum can compete with Bitchat for local BT meshes and integrate them into heterogeneous larger networks. 📡 @ODELL Maybe now is an occasion to hook Mark for a CD episode.
