Probably won’t show up until the pain or perceived injustices are greater. Perhaps additional decentralized apps on the protocol will change things as well.

....bows. Mind you, a) I just joined Nostr, and b) I'm fighting on X against the Denial of Reach/Follower Shaving algorithm punishment 'censorship', so despite my equanimity, grace and panache, I'm miniscule in the scheme of things.😶‍🌫️

Phew! 🙂 I get absolutely hammered by the algorithm on X and YouTube.

I’m trying to use it a bit more, navigating it is a bit more complicated imo. Good tho!

How many people do you see here that aren't on Twitter?
We are “mostly” filled with contradictions and inconsistency - easy to see in others - hard to see in ourselves. Watch what people do (over the long term) …..not what they say. Proof of work is everywhere And it is a primary reason I value you so much….my friend!

People on Twitter are probably on Nostr, and TicTok and Facebook and all the other garbage. The true #Nostriches are here some, and off doing and building things: code, community, and families. I don't miss X/Twitter at all. My life's better without it.
Because, as @Jeff Booth says again and again, they still live and support the fiat system they’re trying to convince others to not support. IMHO, I just refer to them as grifters.

I actually just watched, Pleb Underground, a once popular Bitcoin podcast and they all seemed miserable, denounced Bitcoin Twitter content, acknowledged that the pleb hodlers were all on NOSTR .... and yet none are on NOSTR. They were complaining that Strategy has tons of Bitcoin and complaining that Blackrock has almost no Bitcoin (they just have Bitcoin backing up their ETF. Really weird. As if NOST were some technology hurdle involving programming or something.

Too many bot friends to leave.. Nostr feels like Twitter before the bots ( aside from Centralized control of course )
honestly, I agree. I as well see people talking about Nostr on Truth Social and Threads and other platforms - even Substack! - but yeah, I don't see them here.

At some point people on X must understand there under the architecture. I tested grok, its controlled, chatgpt is less restricted, so im trying this. I have lost faith in the COMPANY rails.
Make no mistake. The founders of all of the available AIs have a similar allegiance to a specific narrative, and it’s not to the majority of the user basis. Musk and Altman are one and the same.
Having a currency note with drug residue could create similar jeopardy as running a BTC node that is forced to possess illegal material…Who are the people behind the people behind the non-configurability of upcoming BC 30 release and can they be cancelled?

I believe you know the answer. Ah, mini servers are cheap the question is who's AI model can you trust?

I personally find account discovery a bit harder on nostr. If you would only stay on here, how do you find interesting new accounts? my base set group does not re-tweet that much other accounts

In 1995 there were a lot of people talking about the internet. But not many were actually using it. Now everyone uses it every day without talking about.
At this point, it needs to be a Free Software model (one that follows a Free Software license), and must be truthful in what it's capable of, and the dataset. Common Crawl is a cancer, and needs to be stopped big time.
