I looked it up...this is an actual, unofficial, non-credit seminar at Stanford known as “Rule” (short for “So You Think You Can Rule the World?”). It was first detailed in a May 2026 Stanford Daily article.
Apparently drawing on ideas in Scott Alexander’s “Meditations on Moloch”. This is one of the books alot of "effective altruism" people reference.
