Great rant by Giacomo! Everyone who has a position on BIP-110 should listen (both sides) personally I agree with 99.99% of what he said, but I'm supportive of BIP-110 for the sake of reminding the Core devs they don't decide what Bitcoin is and does. I look forward to competing node software fighting for market share by providing a stable product that is most aligned with users desires.

Great episode, I absolutely agree with privacy as default tools are badly needed in Bitcoin. We must advance the UX to bring more people onto self custody Bitcoin in a easy and safe way. Those tools with great UX will win and if they are private by default Bitcoin will fulfill its promise.
