Really? Not deleted? You mean my friends email wasn’t deleted. My friend is going to be pissed.

I just got the email. What a lying sack of shit.
Deception reveals character. Focus on self-ownership, not fallen men.
They look desperate about not getting into legal troubles, but making things worse as time goes by.

Just checked my alternate email, sure enough there was one from Coinkite support. I haven't bought anything since MK4 first came out.
Heard it multiple times from NVK on podcasts. I believe it was stated that customer data was deleted after 120 days.
IMO this was confirmd when people who ordered cold cards direct from coin kite got physical scam letters.
Everyone should think very carefully who has protected, promoted and stood behind nvk for all the years people have been warning about him, everyone who excused his behavior and ignored all the bad shit over the years. These people are all part of the problem. They helped him spread the word and popularity, and enabled more people to get fucked. It doesnt matter that they didnt know the product was utter crap, everyone knew the man and all the shit he has done. And yet the stood behind someone like that and now watch people get burned for it. View quoted note →
i wonder if they consider the email “personal information” when responding to this. not giving any pass. just wanting to confirm explicitly
either way, the community perception is certainly clear. i thought they discarded all details after 30days
My few proxy email addresses I used with them 3-4 years ago also received emails. I logged into their site again and they did delete the shipping addresses for the orders, but I want to find the email or web page where they stated that they deleted customer data.

yep, received emails
At this point, fear. They know they are screwed, so NOW they are acting. I was so pissed when I saw that email. Not because they sent it, but because they waited. Because they lied.

In Canada not sure? But regardless shouldn't turn the state to solve problems we created... everyone trusted no one verified.

At this point it's in character for him to troll, but maybe his lawyer wife recommending such actions.
Yeah, I haven’t bought anything from coinkite in over a year and received a security advisory email

I wish his podcast wasn't called (Bitcoin review) but coinkite review.
serious bullshit. can't believe it, they were adamant that they wiped all your contact info. pretty sure they can be sued for this, just straight up lying to customers.
He just stated it in his post on his blog maybe two days ago when all this started too. Before they sent emails yesterday.
