I always have to remind myself that my childhood was not necessarily "normal". I've done a lot of therapy and a lot of growing and a lot of whatever the fuck you want to call it, working through my trauma. But every now and then, I open my mouth and recount a childhood experience and the look of horror on some people in the room always reminds me that, yeah, no, that wasn't fucking normal. Even if I've worked past it, saying it out loud sometimes, I guess, can be shocking to other people. 😂

I guess im just not allowed to sleep this week. Shit. 😅
