My wife and I bought our first home today. Not as a financial investment, but as an investment in our family and our happiness. It's not lost on us that this dream is increasingly out of reach for a lot of people our age. I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled into /r/bitcoin all those years ago... One of those moments that splitners your timeline and changes everything. I'm a different person because of it, doing things I would otherwise likely struggle to do. Not just financially, but personally also. Thank you Satoshi and thank you Bitcoiners. Never stop shining the light. Never stop stacking.

Congrats man! Me and my wife are building our house too. It’s been quite a journey (4+ years and probably another one to finish) but it’s been worthwhile and a huge learning experience.
I’m sure there will be a lot of work that will go on into furnishing your house to be proud of later. 🤙 But yeah, it will be a proud moment when we’re done 💯

Congrats! 👏 a solid home is a must for a solid family. Enjoy it!
I remember seeing an anon account on /r/bitcoin that was posting about becoming a whole coiner and being inspired to step up my game! Congratulations on the new house, now fill it will new Bitcoiners!
There really should be some restriction on how much residential property any single entity can own, there are empty house all over this planet, the scarcity is totally manufactured
That’s awesome! My wife and I would also like to buy land and build a home in a few years, not as an investment, but to build a life. If BTC is going where we think it is, we have to trust we’ve saved for the future and not be afraid of other “assets”

Bitcoin will fix this, eventually.

Congratulations! The only investments should be investments in happiness.
