Broken Money was published a year ago this week Thanks to everyone who read it, shared it, and reviewed it! ๐Ÿ™ I resisted writing a book for years since itโ€™s such a tedious process, until finally a book formed in my head that I felt needed to exist, and that was too distracting for me *not* to write. Congrats! But I'm planning on initiating a movement to spam Lyn in all platforms until we get Broken Money in the main languages! #SpamLynUntilTranslations
noticed recently that just mentioningto people that Our Money is Broken is one of the best conversation starters.. (to introduce people Bitcoin)..

Your book and the associated video you mafe are always the first resources I recommend to newcoiners. I find them very accessible and inclusive for anyone who would like to start digging the rabbit hole. Thank you for bringing these resources to the World!
This has become the top book I recommend to help others understand money, banking, and bitcoin. Bravo on writing such a great book ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘
Having initially listened to the audiobook and then the physical hardcover (I wanted to see all the visual aids).. I enjoyed it as a bridge to understanding economics, history and Bitcoin. Fantastic work.

I wish more people would read this book as there are so many misunderstandings that exist around money that this book explains

I am glad you wrote this book. I always thought I understood money but then I read this book and now I get it! I was bullish on Bitcoin but now I really see Bitcoin as paradigm shift in money. I think this book will make a meaningful financial impact in every readers life and I wish it becomes an even bigger success than what it already is!

That's crazy it's been a year already. Seriously, thank you so much for writing this book. You are so gifted with explaining things and laying out ideas and concepts in a manageable way. I'm probably not the only one who feels this way but you have made my life better, not just for bringing this information to the forefront but for making me think about the legacy financial systems and think "what is money, really?", "why are these things the way that they are?" . You are the Signal in a world full of Noise. Thank you!

Thank you for creating a financial book that everybody can understand and therefore everybody should read
Thanks Lyn. Itโ€™s obvious you put a tremendous amount of work into this book. Longest book Iโ€™ve picked up in a long time, but your writing was engaging and full of useful information. I believe it will be relevant for decades as we look back at this time in history.

When I received it and found out it was 500 pages I was wondering will I ever finish this book, how can you have that much text on money. But damn I went through it like it was nothing. Thank you so much for writing it! ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ˜Š

One of the best and thoughtful books Iโ€™ve ever read. Thank you so much Lyn!
I'm only one third into it, I'm a slow ready with fee free time, but it's excellent so far, I find myself re-reading some paragraph to be sure I understand everything properly, so it's really bringing me a lot. Thanks for writting it.
Thank you for writing the book. It educated me that inflation is not a naturally occurring phenomenon but rather intentionally induced by the government to encourage spending and discourage saving.

One of the best books I have ever read. It really helped me connect the dots in how the financial system machinery works. I've lost count of the amount of people I've recommended it to.

very compelling and well researched. quite the accomplishment - congrats Lyn
Ah, thanks for the reminder, just picked it up on Kindle to read while hiking in a few weeks.
Great book @Lyn Alden and thank you for your decision to write it. It's a book that will be remembered years from now.
I put off reading it because I thought it might be too analytical and possibly a bit dry, like so many other other books on money. Found it on Audible a few weeks back, decided to give it a listen and practically devoured it. Itโ€™s a great book and superbly narrated by @Guy Swann Well worth a read or listen. ๐ŸŽง ๐Ÿค“
Well thank YOU for writing it. There's been so many twists & turns in the Bitcoin Rabbit Hole that I never expected, but reading great books has been a huge highlight In fact, I would argue that everyone here in Nostr is likely self-learners None of us would be here if not for the hard work of the people that we've been able to learn from en route It's a top 5 recommendation to anyone wanting to learn about #Bitcoin in my view I particularly enjoyed 1) your point about debt existing pre money 2) how you highlighted the inevitable failure of gold due to the advances of communication technology 3) the mechanics of broad vs narrow money

I lent my marked up soft cover to my dad. He loved it but lost it ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ. This is the most digestible book I have ever read on the evolution of money and a great book to lend out to open eyes to the fiat scam. Thanks for the post it reminded me to buy a replacement copy but this time it will be the hardcover from Saif!

Thank You Lyn for the book. I learned some barter exhange in the past from Junior school but nothing further. Your book Broken Money has very deep explaination about Money and What is Money. I recommended it to all my friends whether they care about money or not. #NOSTR #decentralized #realmoney
This book is a masterpiece and a must-read. It deserves to be translated into every language and read worldwide. If you have friends or family members who don't understand the need for Bitcoin, I guarantee this book will enlighten them. #bitcoin
