GM☕️ and Carpe Diem🌅. My daughter asked us at dinner what taxes are. My wife stumbled trying to give a response and handed it off to me expecting me to say that taxes are helpful. Instead I looked my daughter straight in the face and said “Taxes are theft. It is the government forcing you to pay them for terrible products and services and if you don’t pay they put you in jail.” Not the answer my wife expected me to give her but she found no fault.
