When to slow down stacking? <5× annual income in BTC → every extra sat matters. 10–20× income → close to financial independence. 20–25× annual expenses → your stack can likely sustain you (classic 4% rule, but in sats). 30×+ income → stacking more rarely changes lifestyle, just legacy. The shift happens when: Your BTC can cover your family’s needs indefinitely. More fiat work adds stress but not happiness. Extra sats don’t change your daily decisions. At that point, Bitcoin is no longer about survival — it’s about optionality. Time becomes the scarce asset.
