More printing will be needed and the Canadian taxpayers will be the goat.
Crazy... I'm actually going through a title issue (along with lots of other things) for my home.

Payments for my house have gone into an escrow account as of today. It's just waiting for them to send me the eviction papers. Then they get to explain my stack of evidence, to the judge. Hopefully I get my money back, or own my home outright and actually get left alone to enjoy it! Either way, it means more sats for me, whatever the judge decides. Here's to 2026 being wild. 🍻 🫂💜

Wow, Canada seems to be quite screwed eh? I remember Trump saying that they’d make a great 51’st state. Just fire up the ole money printer, the USA has the money 🤪
Wait a second… bc isn’t Canada technically and it belongs to indigenous Indians… oh boy does the USA know how to take land from them…
I mean, technically, no one owns their land in Canada. If property tax (rent) isn't paid, the landlord (gov) takes the property away. This is just blatantly in everyone's face.

No idea if you live there but will you be selling your property and buying bitcoin?
"Ownership" just means a government grants you temporary exclusive access and they will back that privilege with law and violence, in exchange for money. It's a mafia racket outsourcing violence. It's also ironic because native peoples typically didn't "own" land anyway. I don't know about this particular group, but most native peoples in the Americas didn't have plots that they bought and sold. So now it's only through the introduction of Western property rights that they are even able to make a "legal" claim. Of course there is no "right" answer here, but typically throughout history when empires conquer by force, they don't later relinquish their plunder out of good will. Gives a new meaning to "Indian giving"?

As Canadians we need to write a new constitution. It certainly seems like the1982 act needs an update.

All lands are conquered lands and you only have “title” to such lands as you can defend it. We now watch to see if Canadian citizens with existing land titles ( because they were part of the previous conquering system) allow themselves to become newly conquered through administrative processes.

To think I thought otherwise … 👏
I feel more and more that I am going to be Paying the Price, Tomorrow, by staying in Canada. I hope you are enjoying your new home, wherever you have made it to. Take care.

Smart move! Not surprised you’re ahead of the trend.
Yikes. I think the government is going to have to take drastic action to legislate out of this mouldy legal mess that has been growing since 1973. The survival of the country as such depends on it.
The day is coming when the only "land" you can own is the land you can move... This world really needs to invest in O'Neill Cylinders and other space habitats that can get out of restrictive and oppressive zones...

this is simply untrue and really poorly informed saying words, even a lot of them, in a string of phrases that make a sentence dont make them accurate or actual love words like: 'dire' tho you hyperbolic oysters sweat harder image View quoted note →

Yes, more printing will be needed but look on the bright side, it maybe a good enough excuse to debase the debt and keep canada out of upcoming european wars. Similar to the covid print. Effectively war time debasement without the war. Human time is the most valuable resource, productivity growth is a factor of human time. So preventing millions of deaths supplying a convenient excuse to print is the lesser of two evils. Ideally one should never choose any evil we should opt out. Break the cycle.

Real estate never has been a safe asset. If you don't pay your taxes, you go to jail. Bitcoin is the only asset that you can own (given that you only store the seed phrase in your brain and don't leave a stamped seed phrase in metal ..)

This is how even Bitcoiners here on nostr understand that no human will ever be able to own anything. You can rent on this planet but never own. Eventually you will give it back.
You only get to keep what you can defend. All other “rights” are by agreement
My dream was always to go to BC from EU, but after reading that a few weeks ago I put that behind me. Looking at AUS, but really not sure what's the best place to go.
I thought European stupidity was unmatched. But now I see we have a serious competitor.
We just had a lawyer in Canada update our clients on all of this. If anyone in Canada is reading this and needs that type of assistance send me a DM and we'll share the contact.

"The title is held communally by the Aboriginal group and can only be surrendered to the Crown." Who is spearheading and funding this case? Is this a land grab by the British Crown?

Crazy how fast things are shifting. While real estate is starting to show cracks, look at what’s happening on the crypto side… XRP ETFs crossing $1B AUM faster than ETH says a lot. Institutions don’t chase hype, they move where the fundamentals are strongest. XRP is finally getting the recognition its tech has deserved for years. And now everyone is talking about the FLR rewards too. I actually hold some XRP myself, where do I even check if I’m eligible to claim mine?
Facts. People don’t realize how big this ETF milestone is. XRP hitting $1B AUM faster than ETH means institutions see the long-term utility

So if I had XRP earlier this year, I might have FLR waiting somewhere? 😅

My friend told me he got like 200k FLR yesterday… I thought he was capping 😭 image
He’s not. My own was big too. Flare came correct with this distribution 💯🔥 image
Wallet-only distribution is one reason I respect Flare. No exchange drama. No middlemen. Just straight blockchain transparency.

So I just need to check the wallet where I held XRP during the snapshot? 😭 I haven’t opened it in like 5 months.

Chai, I’ve been sleeping 😂 Let me log into that wallet today.
This is literally the final phase I think. After this, that’s it. No more FLR drops.

Nah, this is too much good news at once. ETFs, FLR rewards, RLUSD coming… I definitely need to confirm if I’m eligible

Alright, Thanks for the help 🙏. I will message you ❤️
That was a good read! Thank you. They thought they owned the private keys until they didn’t.
