These are crucial data to take in consideration when you check where/if you should post, also looking long term.
X people will be less healthy in the future that nostr people.. eventually.

Joe, my man, you know we're friends, so I'm going to give it to you the only way I know how, the truth. If I look at your Twitter feed and compare it to your Nostr feed, it seems to me that you're all in on Twitter. You go days without posting on Nostr. And I get that. Most of your audience is on Twitter. You're trying to make a living. Your comparison isn't fair though. Of course you made more on Twitter. You post there daily. You sometimes go days without posting on Nostr. This makes sense. I could make the same post but say the opposite thing. I don't get any money from Twitter, but I do from Nostr. I also don't post on Twitter, of course I'd make more where the majority of my efforts go.
Anyways, keep up th great work. Almost no one wants boring macro talk. Telling conversations of people and their lives on the ground is what makes your content special. You're doing great work and you deserve every single sat that you get. I hope to see you in Prague.

You make good content, but you have to at least try to have a conversation with people. Also. The money you get from Twitter is because they are selling ads against you and your content. Nostr is P2P Value-for-Value money. I hope you’ll take this as constructive and start getting involved here!

Not surprised. Twitter has probably a lot more active users, and most of all, it has ads funds. Not sure if plebs alone donating can surpass that in this moment.

Completely agree with everything Derek says, and would add one incremental point.
This is also a micro case study of the broader fiat system v. sound money.
The fiat system, for a very long time (in my opinion, probably a magnitude longer than most here think), will be able to “pay” you to participate in it. It will be up to each individual to determine (1) where their time and energy are best rewarded and (2) in which savings vehicle they then place their excess time and energy.
For Joe (and many others, almost everyone) it is still much more lucrative to mine in fiat and save in Bitcoin. Twitter is just one example of this.
Of course, this it will change over time.
We still expect to see #Bitcoin to have a parabolic move to top out at $300K+ this cycle, Until then just keep stacking, and build your sats with passive arbitrage pattern to 100x your sats.

I’m all in on Nostr which is why I get the value I do from it, & I’m just a memer.
Imagine him putting the SAME exact effort into Nostr that I do, or even half of it.
I’ve gotten zapped around 27M sats since I joined a year ago, & I’m just a memer n community builder.
I’d bet you his contributions are more valuable than mine, don’t like comparing but it feels true to me.
I’d love it if he did an experiment where he put in a ton of effort into Nostr for just 1 full month, & interacted with the community how far that would get him. I’d be shocked if he didn’t 3x-5x his earnings on X here on Nostr.
Also if he stacked the sats he’d receive he’d be better off in 3 years than holding the fiat he gets from X.
It’s all time preference.

On twitter your earnings come from you driving engagement to a centralized platform and making plebs see ads.
