Bought something with in chain btc for the first time ever. I was intrigued that the blocks took so long to confirm in some cases. So I can absolutely see the need for lightning. It got me wondering if there's a break even point based on gas fees where opening a lightning channel is preferred to on-chain based on the amount sent etc. Anyone know?
