I agree with Derek on this. If you can’t engage and earn ,keep delivering better content . Don’t lower value by begging. Instead build with Derek, great point. Who measures when donations are enough, Bitcoin is scarce Providing coverage is more important if they choose to do so it should be part of their self discipline not my suggestion

It depends on the size and the type of the relay you want to run.

Asking isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Some people are willing to give V4V once they know what’s going on behind the scenes.

More self deployed relays will help, it doesn't have to online 24hours. Just start a relay on your phone over tor network to host your content and your friends will help alot. And it costs zero if you connect through Wifi.
