I really do have a strong fellowship with a handful of tradcath brothers, but I am hard pressed to accept that: I. The church should not be submitted harshly to the authority of God's Word. II. That salvation requires anything other than a saving faith granted by God for His purposes alone. Furthermore, like the Reformers, my research of Scripture exposes "apostolic succession" as a power grab; an extra Biblical institute designed to provide a faulty "one true church claim". The doctrine and ways of the church must be handed down responsibly through sound discipleship, that much is plainly clear. Apostolic succession... does not exist in Scripture. Any qualified elder can lay hands on a pastor, ordinating him *through the authority of Christ*. There is no explicit lineage for church leadership this purpose like is frequently used in the Bible... It's not a thing. Succession is about responsibility of testing everything and *everyone* by Scripture. #ToChristAlone
