My first post, I'm discovering Nostr and Primal. I don't yet know what I can and can't post, or who will see my posts. So, let me introduce myself: my name is Vincent, and I live in Corsica. I spend as much time as possible in nature with my dog, Vasco, a Mini American Shepherd who follows me everywhere, all the time. On my outings, I like to take photos and videos, especially of sunsets over the Mediterranean Sea. So I'll start by sharing a video of Vasco and a sunset on the beach; it pretty much sums up what's important to me.

Yes, #Nostr is really great, and you'll see what a crazy feeling is #zap. It's still in development, like Bitcoin was in 2012, for example.😊 Hashtags are the best way to find stuff, and everyone uses them. Enjoy.💪

First nostr leason: there is no "can post/can't post". There is, however, "mute" so no one ever has to see what you post if they dont want to. We get to use the internet like thinking human adults with decision making skills.

Thanks! I need to get familiar with Primal. I'm having a bit of trouble with the feed and the accounts I follow by default. I need time to get used to it and find content that interests me.

This is still one of the toughest parts of nostr is proper discovery. I believe Primal still auto follows a group of users to give your feed something on it when you get set up. Their explore section has some ways to try to find similar interests and such to help grow your feed too.

Welcome! Post whatever you want, but be aware that there is no real delete button. You can request deletion, but because Nostr has multiple clients, posts may still appear on other clients. Unlike twitter where "drama sells", here, "value sells", that is, if you write stories from your day, are encouraging, commiserate with someone, share insights, or create a product. If you are bettering your life, and such, that's way more likely to get engagement here. I love the positivity Nostr has.

This beach is called "la plage d'Argent" mean like "the silver beach", the sand is very light, almost white depending on the light.
