nostr is an awesome way for me to interact with listeners of my two shows and for them to interact with each other, directly without permission
by that measure alone it is already a success

One of the things that's most frustrating about listening to podcasts is that, in general, these people only respond to "trending on X" comments about their episodes -- so if you want to have any voice, you gotta play by the algorithm. Nostr is a welcome exception.

Nostr, like bitcoin, like your show, is on a need to know basis. It attracts the likeminded, and the ones who WANT to take part. The noise is automatically filtered away, which again, strengthens the signal, and the feeling of interacion. Keep up the great work @ODELL .

….and on a serious note, Nostr is amazing. I exist online here and no where else. It’s come a long way since December ‘22 when i went Nostr only. The interaction here is great and the development has been growing, i hope it exponentially accelerates because it’s an amazing protocol. I , however, need to keep up as some of my notes are still old skool twitter angst . I’ll get there as I’m surrounded by great people 😂🤙

I can say with certainty that the community interactions with Citadel Dispatch only make the show better. Most shows with community involvement make me want to die lol.
Nostr is also great because the people posting here are sacrificing a good deal of reach for ideological reasons. Makes the average interaction more genuine I think.
Different values leading to different incentives, and so we get signal over noise..
