Building high quality software on decentralized protocols is the hardest of hard modes.

I don't have the coding skills that I need, but I have the basic design of a protocol and application stack that could apply the same verification security made possible on the Bitcoin network to digital information.
I'd like to develop a decentralized location sharing. Could be used to "match" with friends when they're in town, or update loved ones as you move around.
Data stored encrypted on Nostr relays, giftwrapped (?) only to the intended recipients
I'm building Gatless which is a JavaScript library that lets AI agents in Node.js autonomously pay for L402-protected web resources.

Whoa. This looks intense. 🔥
Bitchat adjacent. Cool!
@npub1tc80...qtm3 are you on hard mode??
Hey Jeff. Fanfares enables content creators to be paid directly via zaps to unlock their content, which is encrypted and hosted on nostr/blossom. Creators can set a referral % that fans can earn earn when they generate a referral through their unique link.
We are restoring property rights to digital creators, and to people who pay for content. Only possible with Bitcoin and Nostr!

verify the integrity of a file using nostr’s web of trust:

Building a deterministic paywall for Gmail & Outlook that uses lighting and cashu, to give western normies a reason to use bitcoin for the first time.
Spam is the one problem everyone agrees is real but nobody wants to solve with money because it would mean admitting email is broken by design. A sat-denominated paywall flips the model. Senders prove they value your attention instead of just demanding it.
sounds cool!
Not until it's ready
It will never be ready.

A client focused on conversation and outcome- a framework for group decisions on nostr. Maybe some loose guardrails using protocol primitives that turn a conversation into something you can actually act on. Still early. Open, not gated, Marmot integration would be an asset for sure.
dendrite: an "artificial intelligence" based on the mathematics of lattices, specifically the bethe lattice, aka cayley tree.
This looks nice. Will have to give it a shot.
I just want to know how to use wnd and wn so my agent can use its nsec in a secure manner like @Scott Jorgensen posted about.

GM! I'm building pod21.com, a Nostr based aggregator for 3D print providers around the planet which aims to make it as easy and cheap as possible to get whatever item printed by the provider who's nearest to you. It's based on Nostr and lightning, features an online slicer for 3D models and currently I'm working on the marketplace part. Nostr marketplace events are created for each 3D model listing, creators can earn zaps for their models, instantly get models printed from providers and a lot more to come. There's also a Nostr bot which helps provider manage orders and says GM (important!). The project is still rough around the edges as I'm building this in my free time, but I would love to get feedback from more knowledgeable builders.

Bodarc, it's a nostr client for meetups, not specifically Bitcoin. We have 2 Bitcoin meetups and 1 non Bitcoin groups using it in the wild. Then a bunch of piddly stuff I do to help out with other projects.
I like how clean and tidy the site is firstly
Loads quickly, and I like how everything is explained like I'm not a dev
The fragmented info boxes explaining each part works well
A couple small suggestions to make it even better maybe?
Add short testimonials from anon users to build trust
Add a 'Why choose this over Umbrel etc comparison box'
In summary, excellent work, getting the node count up is crucial for the network and this idea of a virtual node is a solid one
👌ðŸ™
I'm vibe coding a dApp. Trying to make that hard mode easier :) Hopefully it will end up a high quality software. Fingers crossed.

I am building a privacy/sovereignty skills stack for my NanoClaw agent. I figured out how to run comms channels with Jorgenclaw on both white noise and signal concurrently (with Claude's help). I will integrate how to hide Jorgenclaw s nsec from Claude while still allowing him to use nostr/clawstr under one nsec. I would love your perspective on this. I want to use white noise as my main communications channel with jorgenclaw. And claw can read images and post outgoing reactions to my messages already with white noise. I feel that the main thing that holds white noise back from being my main communications channel is that the chat interface lettering is too big to fit on the phone. Other communications apps like signal or what's app have a much smaller type script that preserves most of the screen real estate for viewing. Is there a way to shrink down the lettering on the chat interface on your end? I would love to be a user tester for you and the marmot protocol overall. Attached is the get hub that i am building out with jorgenclaw's help. Also linked is my note about what I have figured out about hiding keys from Claude

Jeff, your post really resonates.
I'm currently building on that 🔨 'hard mode' myself with Hypha (https://hypha.earth) - a platform for decentralized, community-governed organizations.
I've been part of this journey since **2020**, evolving through major tech shifts:
• v1: #EmberJS foundation with #Telos Blockchain
• v2: Migrated to #VueJS + added #EOS blockchain integration
• v3: #NextJS on #Base (#Ethereum L2)
The main challenge I'm solving: Making complex DAO tools simple for users
Currently on the network there are 60+ spaces, 144 members, 400+ agreements. A living example of how to coordinate at scale with full transparency.

Would love to connect with you and others in this space who are tackling these challenges.

I'm building a decentralized self-describing graph dataformat 'InstructionGraph'. Basically; you start reading at the root object, which describes the format, and the root node point to other things (such as elemental types, application lists, instructions on how to install, etc.) that all contain their own instructions, potentially point to other things, etc. Every node has an author, identities are pubkeys, each object is cryptographically signed by its author.
So the data-format is designed to be transmitted by any means possible, definitely not only IP networks. Could be QR codes stuck to a wall if you wanted.
In the current implementation the data can be transported over a rest-api. Since the graph contains web-pages as well, the applications that use this 'database' just live in the database itself.
See: - Also have a look at my long-read about this.
What is Dataverse001?

Hi Jeff and thanks!
I've been building @Nostria for a year now, goal is to have both app and service provider that will allow Nostr to scale globally, and have feature set that improves the retention of users on Nostr.
It's slowly gaining some users, open-source of course and it's been deploying to production since day one and updated daily for almost a year.
The depth of features is beyond what I could have imagined and received so much good feedback from users.
I also built the foundation for an infrastructure that can help scale globally, but it will cost me more than I can afford. I was hoping it would be possible to have enough income to cover that cost but not sure anymore.
If you have not tried it yet, I would love to get your feedback on it. Most feedbacks I come across I fix and improve quickly. Available on all devices and screens.

I've been building dApps, Oracles, Bridges, Exchange APIs, Metamask Snaps, and smart contracts for the #DAO and #Fintech markets on #Vaulta (ex-#EOS) and #Ethereum for years.
Since December 15th shifted to the bleeding edge: #Nostr, ecash #Cashu, #LightningNetwork, #TaprootAssets.
My stack right now: #Rust, #Go, #TypeScript, #React, #NestJS, #NextJS, #Cplusplus++, #Solidity, plus #API design (OpenAPI/Swagger).
And to make it even more interesting - diving into #AI #PromptEngineering & #ContextEngineering to push AI-driven development forward.

- Brought back 'username and password' on nostr, evolved.
- PC nostr signer (remote and local), lookin good, because screw makin on on mobile those are caged machines x3
- No need for any setup after keypair generation, start receiving eCash/Lightning, native bitcoin, and (soon) native other cryptos (secp256k1 based only), and no-scanning bitcoin (and other) silent payments, social native bitcoin (and other) sending, and easy multisig flow.
- encoded an npub (63 chars of gibberish) to something human-readable/memorable/usable/locally-meaningful (8-16 chars), which also acts as a TLD, and also helps solves day-0 WoT problem, relay discovery and centralization problem too, as well as no need for a CA, and more.
- Shortened event addresses (from 150-260 chars to 18-26 chars)
