Been a while since our last product update, but rest assured we've been chugging along and updating our service!
Aside from general UI/UX improvements and bug fixes, we're most excited about two key features recently released...
1. MCP Tooling 🤖
Of course, with agent usage growing astronomically, the toolsets to make products more accessible and usable by these models need to develop. In that vein, we released MCP tooling to make acting as a Shopstr seller and buyer seamless for your agents, along with refined model discoverability formats to increase the context window on our system. You can get an API key from settings and will soon be able to interact with the MCP tools as a standalone package.
2. Custom Storefronts 🛍️
This is a BIG one. This is our first step towards building out a Shopify-like suite of tools to make selling on Nostr almost entirely on par to traditional e-commerce experiences (and then some). Accessible via the shop settings, you can now claim your own URL slugs and design custom storefronts to match your products styling and vibe. Your products under your brand. While still basic compared to fully extensible e-commerce tools, there is a wide range of flexibility to make your web shop yours.
Automated custom domain linking is still in the works, but if you can't wait, you can reach out directly to us to help set that up manually.
Along with this came improvements to order management, checkouts flows, and product/shop specific link previews to highlight your products directly.
With @Milk Market, we also expanded functionality to support credit cards, email account creation, custom email flows for greater marketing and conversion management, subscription purchases, all of the above mentioned and more (If your selling any local food or locally sourced products, reach out to get started there... 😉🥛)
Got a lot more coming down the road (along with some products of our own 🐐👀), specifically around performance, mobile, and further storefront functionality.
