@Keychat recently added @Nostria to the app selection, but Nostria had an issue that made it fail to load... But not anymore! We just fixed Nostria so it works smooth in Keychat! Go try it out! Sometimes you give, sometimes you take away. We decided to remove the multiple columns for feeds. We have no logging on Nostria so we don't know how popular this feature is, but to simplify the experience, reduce the complexity, we decided to remove this feature. There are other Nostr apps you can use that has multiple columns. We hope this change will be welcomed as it will reduce some UI complexity and simplify the feeds. In other news, we've added a bunch of new improvements everywhere and we continue to do so, every single day. So make sure you check out the app as much as possible and explores new features. Music is for everywhere! Break free of the Nostr-Cage by downloading your favorite playlists as .m3u8 files and open in your favorite media player. How about WinAmp Classic?

We added the ability to configure relays specifically for music discovery (and streams). Now you can discover more music, without having to add these relays to your own account relays. Many other improvements have been added, including "Publish Event" for tracks and playlists, giving you the ability to ensure your own (and other's) tracks are available on your own relays. We've seen that tracks are distributed differently depending on the music app you're using, so this is a great way to ensure everyone will discover your music.

Nostria Music improvements: - Extract title from filename. - Extracts album art from file if exists. - Extracts other metadata from the file. - Attempts to automatically detect if AI Generated and toggle for you. - Drag and drop of both track and album art. This makes it smooth and easy to publish your tracks. Just choose your file, then publish for the world to enjoy and look at the zaps keep coming! Tip: If you make a mistake, you can open "Media", which is your media files. Here you will find the extracted album picture and the music file. You can manually delete, and try again. Get a tool like "Mp3tag" to modify your .mp3 files before uploading. See here how quickly you can publish your songs to Nostr using Nostria:

We want to help get more great content on Nostr! One of the contents that is lacking is photographs. Many photographers on Nostr only post as short form notes, though there is a dedicated picture note that anyone can use to build up their public media library. Introducing a new "Media" option. When you publish photos or videos, Nostria will create both picture or video post, and it will automatically publish as short form post ,so your photographs and videos get the exposure they deserve across all Nostr clients.

Nostria Music is now available! You can enjoy music anywhere, on your desktop or in your pocket. If you're a music creator, you can publish your own tracks and build playlists for others to enjoy.
