Masters versus phd versus practitioner/engineer. Define the problem clearly, and provide relevant evidence both for and against what either your idea or existing evidence may suggest. Or as a cap Gemini managing consultant once said about a masters thesis of mine βit feels like youβre trying to boil the oceanβ. Fitting he said this in 2009, probably before anyone ever said this in relations to bitcoin.

i read this post and saw the link to the paper. i had to mentally prepare myself, take inventory and thought to myself, 'I can dedicate a few minutes of my Sunday to dive in, also i have to, it's Odell'. I sat down on my couch and opened the pdf.

Agree. I believe a 400-pager is a thesis requirement. And that's what it is. A thesis. I can see how he has gotten under the skin of the 'establishment' with his novel theory when btc narrative has always been as a monetary network as most know it. Btc the tech protocol v btc the monetary protocol.
