Thanks for sharing brother 🫶🏼
I really like your point of view and I believe in bitcoin, but how can somebody living in a society going through hyperinflation consider using bitcoin given its volatility, versus a US stablecoin. People in these societies can’t afford to have bitcoin go down 30-50% in value in a matter of days. What are your thoughts on this?
A “stablecoin” is a guaranteed loss coin against bitcoin. That is how it achieves it “stability”. Unfortunately, people will learn this the hard way - and you’re right….it will be hard for them to move all of their savings. So…probably similar to everyone in bitcoin - the more you know, the more the you tune out the volatility and start to think in bitcoin terms. With each step of learning, less fear, more hope. The world changes with each of us.

Your first series with Robert was a game changer for me. I love the long form podcasts. There’s almost always some philosophical content. I can’t wait to listen to this one

I am so happy you're finally being mic'd and mixed properly, you're so hard to hear in earlier podcasts when compared to the host speaker. View quoted note →
Your voice isn't monotone - it's calm, clear, eloquent and well-articulated. Your message is so revolutionary and incredible - I could hear it the same way a thousand times and still be just as inspired and intrigued. Keep up the amazing work.

I’m really enjoying this long interview Jeff although I still haven’t finished 😅 Looking forward to chatting with you next week and hopefully condensing some of these valuable Bitcoin insights 🧡
It is incredibily hard to describe a phenomenon that others can't yet see, has no historic precedent, nor compatible with existing language, while avoiding repeating yourself over and over, through different versions or metaphors, but still people can relate to or be inspired by.
Hi 👋 Jeff! Loved this episode and wondered if you could elaborate a bit more on what you mean with economic nodes vs regular nodes and how you spend your sats if most of the goods and services don’t really accept BTC or lightning payments? I would really like to spend and replace, but can’t see the possibility yet in my country (NL) 😬🙏👍

Listened today. Did not disappoint. You guys even touched on psychedelics and meditation. Have you by any chance read Van Tharps Trading Beyond the Matrix The Red Pill for Traders and Investors. It’s more about spirituality and oneness than it is about trading. Van was also a Bitcoiner and published a monthly crypto update before he passed away.

Love these long form chats, always learn so much. Robert is a great host!
This was a fascinating listen! Highly recommend people to get used to 1.5x - 2x on podcast listen. Makes it so much more efficient. I can’t listen to regular speed anymore…..feels like a drawl….brain has adapted.
I did in fact watched it twice. Second time I fell asleep in bed.
I really enjoyed listening to this conversation, especially discussing a higher level of consciousness. I believe Pandora's box has now well and truly been opened, even if bitcoin went to zero. Too many people have experienced what it means to free humanity from a debt based system, thanks to people like yourself. We are uniquely connected, there has never been another one of me. Just as there has never been, or will be another Jeff Booth. Like the bitcoin network we're all part of an amazing cryptographic puzzle where all our actions are timestamped for eternity using a better updated software for the human experience that brings out the best in us all. 🙏

Great discussion between you and Robert Jeff . The insight you gave about the importance of medium of exchange vs store of value made me come to the conclusion that even if the price of bitcoin never changes (it won’t) BITCOIN will be the best medium of exchange ever(Once it remains decentralized and secure) . As Robert alluded it will require education/propaganda,proselytizing …. or by whatever means necessary to get the 7.5 Billion people worldwide to adopt. We have only just begun .
One thing I deeply appreciate about @Jeff Booth is his consistency. He often repeats core ideas across podcasts—and I’m so grateful he does. Messages like “8 billion people in service of 8 billion people” may sound simple, but truly understanding them takes time. For me, it’s taken multiple listens before things really clicked. The story about Faraday working as a bookbinder? That one shattered my perspective—and gave that phrase a whole new depth. Shoutout to @Robert Breedlove for skillfully drawing out these insights. Grateful for thinkers like this

Great discussion Jeff insight on the importance of the medium of exchange over store of value made me realize that , even if Bitcoin price never changes ( it won’t) and it remains decentralized and secure, it will be the best medium of exchange ever created. As you alluded Robert , it will take education and I will add (indoctrination, propaganda, proselytizing) or as Malcolm X said “ By whatever means necessary “ to encourage 7.5 Billion people worldwide of the superiority of BITCOIN as the means of exchange. We have only just begun.

You say people need to price in bitcoin instead of from within the current system, but how do you make it easy for people to do that who aren't yet able to transact in bitcoin in a way that is economical to them. For example, I get paid in fiat, and nowhere around me accepts bitcoin, so converting everything to what it would cost in bitcoin feels like an unnecessary burden for me, especially since there isn't an easy to way to do it
I think the best possible thing is to request payment in Bitcoin for your products/services. If that's not possible, ask vendors when they will accept Bitcoin payments. Offer to pay in Bitcoin.
Running an economic node means using your node regularly to verify the Bitcoin you are receiving. Simply holding Bitcoin does not make your node economic. So you need to be either stacking regularly or spending and replacing. A nice thread on it here (refreshed my memory too 👍)
Thanks Jeff. I think a lot of people don't understand the concept of "economic" node, nor how to help Bitcoin become a method of exchange. For example, sending zaps on nostr while running a node does not make your node economic (unless you're using your own lightning channels). If you could repeat simple explanations for economic node and how to help make Bitcoin a method of exchange, I think it will help a lot.
Ideally you should be receiving all your Bitcoin through your node at some time. You should receive both kyc and non kyc Bitcoin through it, but keep the receive addresses/wallets seperate 👍

Excellent podcast! 🙌 Thanks to both of you for thoroughly answering the all important question, “Why bitcoin?”
Excellent interview, thought provoking; especially the second half. It tickles my own mode of being. Thanks Jeff and Robert!
that finally got around to finishing the last half: You and Robert were discussing the tension between the subjective and objective aspects of reality. The philosophical word for that undeniable yet mysterious phenomenon is hylomorphism, articulated by Aristole thousands of years ago. in my upcoming book, i think i do a really good job at explaining hylomorphism as it pertains to money. explaining moral philosophy in common language is my super power, which i think is needed at this stage of the battle

@Jeff Booth this was an excellent, deep conversation. Thank you! You talked about bitcoin’s topology a couple of times in mentioning fractals. I’ve been a big fan of the visualisations of fractals for decades myself. (Going back to ZX Spectrum days) For a while now @Delta Kid & I are viewing #bitcoin in a different topological form: The Klein Bottle. We would love to hear your take on this theory: nevent1qqs0e25k6530c50d55fd6645phxxt5kmdtl0pdg3gtgwv7n8j8dddwcpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhghx5kmy
For long time followers of yours this is very refreshing! More of the personal stories, and philosophical talk.

I liked this podcast a lot. I’d love to learn more Jeff! You cover.. life without bitcoin. Then life while measuring bitcoin in fiat system. Then life completely outside from the fiat system. I’d like to explore this a little more. Is there stages to this? How one person can get deeper here? I’d love to be able to wrap my head around it more!
Listened to another @Jeff Booth podcast. I've heard your message Jeff... I've deactivated my X account 🙌🏼😂. I'm choosing to be a part of the system I believe in. I would like to see more of the accounts that I followed regarding SSRI withdrawal here on #nostr But with time...I hope more will come. I'm a software developer...and I'm spending some of my off work time (the bit that I can find) to learn about developing with #nostr May as well jump all in. View quoted note →
