Call me crazy, but I believe in Jan/Feb 2026 we reached escape velocity in AI which had led the owners of the old system to freak out. I think that's the main reason there's an ongoing war in Iran. A way to prevent the Deflationary Death Spiral 1- Rising oil/gas prices leads to inflation everywhere. I.e. melting the debt away. 2- Without Qatar's helium, no new chips will make it to market. I.e starve the machine. 3- Reshape the geopolitics of energy dominance. I.e US as the new big dog now. This, again, buys them time. But as @Jeff Booth says exponential gains from AI, automation, and robotics push prices down, but a fiat system built on credit must expand debt and inflation to avoid collapse.

If the USD is backed by US military power, and that power suddenly becomes weaker, what happens to the USD?

Living in the GCC right now. Seeing missiles flying over my head. Constant alarm sounds or missile interceptions with very little sleep. I'm reminded of the bless of life and really how small and fragile it is, believing that it is is nothing but a passing phase. Yes, sinister people do exist. Yes, they control our world. But at the end of the day if this short life is everything we have, everything that there is, then they win and our Creator is unjust, which I refuse to believe. To those in my shoes, stay strong and stay indoors. This too shall pass.

I'm obsessed with bitcoin on-ramps. And seeing these AI agents go online gave me this idea: what if there is a marketplace that do Peer-to-Ai agent-to peer? Is it possible to have a decentralized marketplace for linking up people who want to buy kyc-free btc in exchange for, say, vps credit? Might be late night silly thoughts...

Thoughts on the paper titled "Bitcoin: The Architecture of Time"

Building a circular bitcoin economy demands at first access to buy bitcoin. One of the main challenges I see today hindering bitcoin mainstream adoption is the lack of an international on-ramp. Some people are lucky, others are not. I come from a place where bitcoin is illegal to obtain through fiat rails. Bank transfers to exchanges? Blocked. Buy with credit cards? Blocked. P2P? Depends on your luck. I'm one of those lucky ones who has an international bank account that I can use to buy bitcoin. Others don't. How can we fix this?

This is an interesting dialogue between Jeff Booth and Carlo. Highly recommended to watch.
