I have not been paying much attention to nostr for 2 months as things have been busy, but the holiday break is upon us shortly, wherein I'll have a bit of time. Can anybody who still follows me give me a brief update on what has happened over the last few months, especially in the world of clients, relays, and the protocol?

jb55 is pushing nostrdb into all his clients whitenoise is a secure messaging app rabble vibecoded a vine/tiktok client and preloaded it with all the old vine videos and got a bit of media hype a bunch of random vibe coded stuff via gleasons shakespeare

Umm, let's see. I wrote a new android app for managing/browsing relays. It's been fun. There is a WOT hackathon ongoing till April that is interesting to follow. Opensats seems to be sponsoring nostr in less waves, could be telling of something tho we won't know what. Devine app is launching soon using old twitter short videos, could be a huge splash of users that are unaware they're on nostr. There, that's a decent summary I think for ya 😎😁 wb.

It's important to note here, that I am not a developer or technologist... that's the most miraculous part of spatia-arcana. Fiatjaf turned pyramid into something even I can run.

I had big hopes for the vine reboot. But its, meh. Still waiting on app release, hopefully the app is actually ok. Definitely not an equivalent to tiktok, as it only has 6 second videos

Nostr wrapped came out today. Primal and yakihonne have both had some improvements. Amethyst created a way to shadowban people from its own users. (If you're on amethyst and you follow 5 people that all have the same person muted, and you don't already follow that person, they are automatically muted for you) Others have already mentioned everything else I can think of.
