put on my rock harness to climb a tree and remove a big suspended limb. had a bit of a reality check. went to tie into my rope and the muscle memory was gone. pulled out my grigri and couldn’t remember the orientation. i spent over a decade climbing mountains and used to know these tools like the back of my hand.
