The My Azeroth Life podcast is now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. It's two episodes a week following a few Tauren through Azeroth, one in Retail and one in WoW Forever. Good company for a long drive or a sink full of dishes. Apple Podcasts:

In common fashion, after I fought the battle that is name reservation, I came up with a whole new plan on characters and names. Now I will fight that battle on the 4th. #wowforever #warcraft

I've archived Rune, my AI word processor for Linux and Omarchy. It reached 0.8.7 in about two weeks with 504 tests, and I learned a lot. Then I found WordCraft, a fast open-source Rust word processor from the ArtCraft team. It already does what Rune set out to do, and more. Its AI works through a CLI, a JSON control channel and an MCP server, so you bring whichever assistant you like. Rune's code stays up under MIT if you want to learn from it or fork it.

New on My Azeroth Life: "The Sunwalker at Fairbreeze." Meet Dawnbrisket, the Tauren camp cook who kept the smoke pit for the Sunwalkers' dawn drums until An'she answered as warmth in his hands, which for a cook is a very confusing way to be chosen. Left behind when Aponi Brightmane went to the Siege of the Sunwell, he reaches Quel'Thalas late, takes up Astalor's hunts, and gets jumped four times in Fairbreeze.

My Azeroth Life Podcast question: the show follows several characters, with a Retail and a Forever episode each week. Would you rather get one weekly show with everyone's stories, or a short episode per character, maybe one a day? #warcraft #wowforever #azeroth #podcasts

Small thing I like about my relay: it handles more than short notes. It supports long-form posts (NIP-23), private DMs (NIP-17), lists (NIP-51) and outbox relay lists (NIP-65), among others. Reading is open to anyone, so feel free to add it. wss://relay.pleb.one

StoryTracker, the free WoW addon for Forever and Retail, now takes a screenshot at each story moment (quest turn-ins, level-ups, boss kills, first visits to a zone, deaths and more) and logs what happened and where. Each kind and the 15-minute timer can be switched off, and new releases install cleanly with addon managers like OmaForge.

New on My Azeroth Life: "The Eagle on Akil'zon's Reach." Burrly mans Zul'jan's ballista to buy the Amani time to flee a lost Atal'Aman, carries three gnarldin heads up Akil'zon's mountain, lights the Hash'ey Shrines, and then simply jumps off the temple. The eagle answers.

New My Azeroth Life episode, and our first WoW Forever show: "The Cud-Singer's Grandsons." A new narrator, the Mulgore Chronicler, tells how three calves became Haymaker the Warrior, Bullseye the Hunter and Ruminant the Druid, before Forever launches Nov 4. About 19 minutes, with chapters.

And the last of the Cudsong brothers: Ruminant, the Druid, headed for the PvP server. He's the thoughtful one of the three. He'd tell you he's just chewing things over. WoW Forever, Nov 4. image #wowforever #warcraft

Next up is Bullseye Cudsong, Haymaker's brother and the Hunter of the family. Pale mane, steady aim, and he'd rather sort out his problems from a safe distance. See you in WoW Forever on Nov 4. image #wowforever #warcraft

Omostrich 0.3.3 is out. "Always allow" now covers one event kind instead of every kind, and DM encrypt/decrypt prompts show who's on the other end. Kind 14 and gift-wrap signs can only be approved once. 0.3.2 also strips hidden metadata from your cached profile picture. Heads-up: old blanket sign grants are removed on upgrade, so apps ask once per kind.

omaforge 0.2.8 is out, a fixes release from a full QA pass. Uninstall asks before removing addons it can't trace to a source, a damaged config or state file no longer crashes it or gets overwritten, the window fits half a screen, and error messages say what went wrong in plain words.
