Private keys can be compromised too and you lose your whole account. Not saying twitter is the way but Nostr isn't either. Announcements like that should be done with a press release with video and commentary from sec officials.

Doesn’t make it unhackable, or something someone can’t absolutely protect someone else from using though. Nothing can do this 100%.
This is such a perfect event to exemplify how what people believe to be the truth is really just what they want to be the truth. Nobody can prove one way or another whether it was the SEC’s fault or Twitter’s fault for the account getting compromised. Each side is unwilling to share the raw evidence of the mishap and, even if they did, half of the people would say it’s fabricated. As a result, we have to live in a world of un-truth.
Only the weak minded pay attention to what they POTUS TwitX account says - regardless of who the POTUS is.
Personally think the POTUS should have ZERO social media presence. The only place they should publish commentary from is Whitehouse.gov - no more or less.
