Series adds voltage. Parallel adds current. Simple enough... until you actually have to decide how to wire your solar array. In the newest video I'm breaking down series, parallel and series-parallel wiring using simple 40V/8A examples. I also cover checking polarity with a multimeter, MC4 branch connectors, combiner boxes, Voc, equipment limits and why there isn't one "right" way to wire every solar array. I picked up these leads for my multimeter that have MC4 connectors at the end. I will be testing a big pile of used panels so I didnt want to have to keep unlocking the clips to get them off. Did a little modification and cut off the clips and the latch the clips lock under. Now they slide on and off no problem. Way easier than fumbling with normals meter probes. #solar #offgrid #grownostr

Good morning Nostr. Day 33 of rebuilding my Nostr habit. Opened a new bag of beans this morning. Med/Light Guatemalan in the cup. I feel like it is heavier on the Med than the light. Still a great cup of Joe. Headed out to do some much needed "lawncare" around our cabin build site. Basically running a weed eater with a chainsaw link blade through all the overgrown chest high weeds. Eventually we will transform it into a low maintaince lawn using clovers and a few other plants but for now I just knock it back when I get a chance. What kind of lawn do you have?
