Eight Sleep has ruined my experience sleeping at some luxury resorts. Waking up drenched in sweat at a 5 star resort due to lack of bed temperature control really sucks.

Totally! And don’t get me started on how not having my Private Jet handy ruins quick trips to St. Barts for afternoon tea - really sucks!!🤣
I'll happily shill products I actually find useful. I doubt Eight Sleep gives a single shit about advertising on nostr. IIRC that one night downtime occurred when I wasn't at home so I didn't even experience it.
Sleeping on the floor is a free back massage from a time perspective, and makes sleep much deeper when you occasionally revert to a bed.
You must be thinking of you dentures- Partial! it’s that damn de-icing dude is slow as shit, I ain’t gots all day!

I don’t know exactly but if it was chronic, then not good things, for most modern people. I’m fairly sure it is a contributing factor to why men die earlier.
That's what the princess said to the pea under her mattress. I'm only joking as well abd with you. I can't sleep unless everything is perfect. No buzzes, no light, no fans, and my pillow that I've had for 20 years.
To point to a different perspective, it could also be a sign that something is out of whack, especially since the room has AC. Hormones, sleep apnea, underlying infection, etc. your body could be sending up a red flag the only time it can.

Consider that a cooled mattress is possibly atrophying your bodies ability to regulate its own temperature overnight and in general. Circulatory system is a huge part of this. Optimal health is resilience. Resilience against reasonably varying environments and inputs.
I've been running hot my entire life. I've done extensive testing and my biometrics are great. I'm quite open to experimentation. What course of action do you recommend I investigate?
Also, a different lens besides Western might help. In Chinese medicine, this would be some type of fire, maybe heart fire. Too much yang, not enough yin. An TCM supp, some lifestyle changes, and monthly acupuncture would ease it.
Yeah, I imagine it's not that bad in terms of the needles. My mind is more open to trying it now that I know someone normal (you are normal, right?!) endorses it. Can't recall last time I saw a place offering it, but will be keeping eyes peeled a bit more
Define normal 🤣 you would never know I was on nostr and hanging with weirdos by looking at me, not until I speak, at least 😂 Lmk if you try it! And let them know your fear 🫂💜
Will do, but odds are still very low. I have dabbled a bit with intentional breathing since we last spoke. Not a full "session", but here and there for a few moments, paying attention to little else. There's something there
Look at you, yodl. A few moments is a session. I started a chillstr relay and will start recording and posting lil meditations and breathwork sessions soon. I will be sure to have some 1 minute ones 😁
Cool. I'll have to figure out how to find them. Jumble lets you surf individual relays, so guessing I look there. We shall see 👀
For someone who spends quite a bit of time on here, yet missed the early wave (when I assume far more technical discourse took place), I'd like to see more of that 🙏 And yes, I know the resources are out there and I shouldn't be such a lazy ass, but...still
Found it on relay tools. Cool. Tried a reply and a post but not sure they went through and figured that was enough spam for one day. Thanks for the lurning

Damn there are a lot of people in here who don't realize that regular hard exercise requires recovery and the bodies self repair processes create lots of heat.
What's wrong with getting what you pay for? Moreover, not giving feedback to the service that it has poor service = poor economic incentive. You just don't have to be a jerk. You can simply inform people, or you can act like you're the King of the World and just ruin everyone's mood.
