One thing I love about nostr is it's just real people being real. People talk about their good days, their bad days, their blah days, their struggles and joys. People share pictures of their dogs, their coffees, a flower growing from a crack, cool trees, the food they eat just put on a plate with no fancy styling. I think it's a big part of why I love it here. For the most part, we aren't trying to impress each other. I don't feel a big Keep Up With the Jones's vibe. It's just people sharing their daily moments and thoughts, not posed with perfect lighting and prose. We try to make each other laugh or relate to one another, but it's just humans being humans. It's really beautiful.
