A/B testing posts between bluesky and nostr. Amazingly predictable results so far!

which socials jack is the real jack?! the suspense! ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Ž i'll be over here adoring the real you.
I want to laugh but that's probably one of the most beneficial side effects of this whole decentralization movement. Some animals just shouldn't be caged together.
intentionally posting something that boosts an anti-vaxer running for president to see how people respond, and not liking that people respond poorly to a dumb bad thing, is not the hard hitting research and evidence you think it is

people love to think their supremacy insulates them from decency, and once they buy their own bullshit as truth, self-fulfilling scaling increases their arrogance. they feed on the energy they create out of cruelty, often with someone else's money and open source. unfortunately, most aren't clever or innovative enough to overcome the obstacles naturally occurring in scaling of any variety. even relationships. talking about people not ideas demonstrates the lack of focus on solutions. supremacy of any variety in leadership shows a disrespect for work. that's why we are consistently solving problems, not gossiping.

I didnโ€™t use your blue sky app, so canโ€™t comment on how it is, but I loved Twitter when I first found out about it, started fully using Twitter in 2018 I think, so Iโ€™m sure if you made blue sky it itโ€™s probably good ๐Ÿ’‹ #[3]

Will there ever be some interoperability between bluesky and nostr? A bluesky relay that takes a nostr key, matches it up with a bluesky ID and posts Or Bluesky adopting npub/nsec for distributed ID? Long shot fantasy ๐Ÿค™

When I started using Twitter, I liked it so much more than other platforms at the time that I got my entire family to get a Twitter. My family even brought it up last month, that I always liked Twitter, and thatโ€™s why I liked the brain behind the idea of Twitter ๐Ÿง  that made Twitter a possibility. Just loved the functionality of it, easy dissemination of information from medicine to medical research, the way itโ€™s made, how easy it is to read scientific, space, medicine, celebrity articles without opening PubMed, google search or online fashion magazines #[3]

RFK Jr. is not โ€œanti-vaxโ€, he believes that all vaccines should be required to pass rigorous safety tests before being deployed and that vaccine manufacturers should not be granted liability waivers (because it adds insult to vax injury when someone is financially ruined in their efforts to regain health).
My hypothesis is that nostr is being positioned to do the heavy lifting of monetary transactions for sites that use the AT Protocol (and the open web in general), & that Damus is somewhat the equivalent prototypical demonstration for Nostr that Bluesky is for AT.
Sadly itโ€™s not. But Iโ€™m hoping for the same fate as Clubhouseโ€ฆ Lots of anticipation followed by โ€œehโ€ฆ whateverโ€ฆโ€ When Bluesky gets to that point Nostr will hopefully have figured out its onboarding issues.

they don't like things that leak... surprising how many have smart phones, though.
The second half of this video nails social media. As relevant as it was then as it is now.
as in, testing whether the same post gets different engagement on the different platforms?
This is the type of douchey snark that is so prevalent on Twitter and so rare on Nostr. Almost forgot it existed. I assume blue sky is 95% douchey snark.

The % that isnโ€™t is on Nostr anyways.
This was a joke about how Bluesky canโ€™t render animated GIFs even though the format has existed since Ronald Reagan was president and Walk Like An Egyptian by The Bangles was on top of the Billboard chart.

Most scientists wonโ€™t do it - so we have yet another word thatโ€™s been forever ruined by human behavior. โ€œScienceโ€ can now join โ€œDemocracyโ€ on the trash heap of vocabulary.

For what itโ€™s worth, your compass focus point has always been abt the people. I think the more decentralised AT Protocol gets, the better it going to be for Bluesky. I wrote here on how decentralisation reduces extremism and brings positive change and balance to society (sorry, long). Plato in Republic (7) puts it way better note1qer8u8sfs8un6zrpmjvplpzs6qsdzdtdhs6j0f4ec25yr83asywspx7udv
I'm sure there will be at least one bridge between AT protocol (Bluesky) and Nostr, just like there's one between the Fediverse and Nostr.

What are the differences between at and nostr protocols? Why was there a need for the at protocol? @jack I know you support both, but I can't seem to understand why we need both. View quoted note โ†’
I'm actually happy that someone is using the word snark On another note - it's like surveying Data is data

Beware of jay the person running Bluesky who fuels harassment and mobbing and acts like a criminal gang leader. You should beware of the amateurs you have running the platform you invested in.
