GM Nostr, I’m returning after an 8 month hiatus. I took about a 4 month break from all socials before returning to X during the election so I could keep up with the news cycles. I’ve now reached the point where X is just tiresome. The creator payment structure incentivizes engagement farming and led to the rise of anonymous “citizen journalists” who twist headlines into fantastical narratives. As I waded through this cesspool of half-truths, I realized I was missing out on the signals I truly cared about - so, I have returned!

Has anyone written an article or anything to rebut gold bugs argument against bitcoin volatility that talks about imagining if there was a price chart for gold right when it was discovered and how volatile the price would’ve been? I don’t know if I’ve seen anyone make this point (although I’m sure someone has), and I think it’s an easy slam dunk response to the Peter schiffs of the world.
