I'm a bit of a clown... but at least I'm posting rather than lurking, or not being here
I can’t even imagine going back there. I’d rather just stop using the internet altogether.
I don't have much of a view or opinion into the dev side of nostr, but it seems aight to me. The vibed stuff will get better in time, and the principles of nostr protocol seem ripe for vibing new stuff (I think, anyway).
For now I'm still pretty happy with who's still around. Learn a lot of cool stuff just scrolling about each day, or at least have some laughs with people I feel like I actually know a bit. Good enough for me
He wrote a full long form article bemoaning how shitty it's gotten. Good! NOSTRs time shall come soon, oh yes, soon
yeah, i think the thing is because it's not tied to any one organisation or person, it can become a durable community, that people in it are maintaining it as well as those who are just helpfully testing the bejesus out of it :) gratitude to all of those people.
