The world wants to tell young men that fatherhood is a burden, a sacrifice, something that “slows you down.” They’ve got it completely backwards. Fatherhood sharpens you. It gives you urgency, weight, and meaning. It forces you to grow up and live for something greater than yourself. It roots you in time, past, present and future. It’s the most important thing you’ll ever do. And the most sacred. Happy father’s day to all my bitcoin patriarchs. Continue to care for those under your protection and provision to the best of your ability and if you need a shoulder to lean on, don’t be afraid to reach out to another father who understands the struggle.

The most important thing you can do as a dad is listen to 40 hours of podcast per week.

Fatherhood is the reward for the man who has survived his own youthful hero’s journey. #DecentralizedFathers #PoWFamily image
We need more women in #Bitcoin & on #Nostr or else there won't be any viable partners for these hypothetical #BTC dads to choose from. 💁‍♂️ Birth Control Pill < Orange/Purple pill 🤙

I couldn’t be the man I am without having kids. It’s another layer of manhood one can’t achieve without accepting the responsibility of Father.
I would go a step further and say that until you have a child you are still a child.
I genuinely enjoy watching you grow over the years. Ironically, I think there was some immature youthful exuberance that made it more likely for you to yolo into bitcoin. Be can be too smart by half for bitcoin? Which is why I’m not a billionaire. I didn’t go in balls deep when I should have :)
Haha I’m also not a billionaire, but the beauty of youth is knowing that if you fuck it all up you can make it back relatively quickly. It gives you permission to go for it.
Your time was definitely not billionaire creation time. But my time period was and I missed it. I even called in to national public radio for an episode of Sound Money when my stack hit at enormous (to me at the time) $10,000…my question wasn’t interesting enough to warrant even a callback, much less being on air. I **almost** unloaded it all at that point. But bitcoin crashed and I got lazy…so I never sold. Bitcoin has a way of protecting you from your own stupidity!

There is a reason he is called God the Father. A Father's love is knowing that we would give our lives for our families...why because they are enough to sacrifice it all. We bring them Safety and Security and they bring us Peace to quell our inner anger/insecurities. Being a Dad is Rad! I've been a father for two and a half months now. I can't even put it into words. I've known my whole life that I wanted to be a father, and I got a lot of flak for saying it out loud. But now that I am a father, it's much better than I dreamed it would be! My daughter has a bigger Bitcoin stack than her critics, and she has the best, most caring parents around! I will always do my very best to ensure she has the best life possible. I don't care if people tell me it's hard to be a dad or that it's a burden. It's the best thing a man can strive for!
It’s the best job, combined with the biggest challenge, raising kids so they’ll be ready to take the hard path, once you’re gone. 🫡🙌

Just got my kiddos down to sleep Rough night, lots of crying, lots of hand-holding until they went to sleep So worth every second
In nominal terms, perhaps. But in terms of current purchasing power, there are not enough goods and services on the market for 2.1 million billionaires on earth. That is roughly 1000x more billionaires than currently exist. But if average billionaire wealth is say $10B, then we are only 100x too high. That said, I do think eventually bitcoin will usher in a new era of abundance that brings more goods and services to market…but I’m thinking that’s like maybe 2x, outside chance of 10x. Most optimistic estimate along this line of reasoning, it’ll take 100 bitcoin to be a billionaire, but probably more like 500.
Three ways boys become men. War, prison, having kids. The latter is preferable, sometimes we have no choice in the first two but just get shit out of luck. Raise a glass to peace and raising Jedi
I think when bitcoin is at let’s say 10 million a coin a premier mansion in aspen or something will cost 100 million. Today they cost 25. So figure your purchasing power is 4x reduced what a billionaire’s is today.
This seems reasonable. Inflation isn’t the only price driver, but historically at about 2.5x to 3x influence this could be right. Price of Bitcoin right now with CPI removed across its history is around $30k. This indicates that the halving restrictions on supply and adoption demand response brought the price to $30k from $0. The other $75k of price is from inflation price impact. These three influencers wriggle about, so it’s hard to pin down precision but @HODL ‘s point is spot on. Gather more than you think you’ll need.
