Welcome aboard! Remember that the beauty of nostr is that you control your algo based on the people, hashtags, etc. that you follow.
So I'd recommend doing some cursory searching on topics of interest and follow people that you see post quality content there.
I hope this app is everything folks are excited about!!
Nostr is freedom tech, can't be banned and you control your data. You take ownership of your data and who and what you follow. Search around via hashtags, find interesting people and follow who they follow. You'll soon build a healthy follow list. And when you get the chance set up a lightning wallet to zap (you can receive and send small units of Bitcoin), some clients that make this easy are Primal and Yakihone. If you have any questions try #asknostr and someone will help ya out. Welcome!
All I know is I miss Digit, and she would be the one to go to for knowledge moreso than me or anyone else I've encountered here so far.

Whats really powerful is that its NOT just an app or a platform. Its a protocol that the apps can be built on top of. They all speak the same language, so you can transfer your identity/data from one to another seamlessly
To be more accurate, youre not even transferring any data whennyou use these different apps! Youre just transferring key that proves ownership from one app to another
I know that, instead of relying on us for reality, Nostr will better allow you to determine it for yourself. Enjoy your sovereign journey.
