Dank a bottle of my 2021 Merlot on New Years I don't really like Merlot so it had been a year since I'd had it. Absolute BANGER. I was sleeping on it. We all are.

They look at the people who play by the rules as chumps and you think you can fix this by playing within the rules? A new system is needed. Opt out. Defund them. Switch to Bitcoin.

In a few weeks, I’ll have to commit to grapes for Fall. This is my biggest annual expense. One that won't even begin to return capital for 2 years. If Bitcoin is in a Bull market, it makes sense to go big If Bitcoin is in a Bear market, it makes sense to keep it small. Where do we go in 2026? Green or Red?

Everything can shift under the surface. Bitcoin price action is as flat as can be, but it feels like the decision to go up or down after this range has already been made. My inclination is always bullish. I think we set a higher low on this dip, and invariably, Bitcoin is worth more than it is priced. Then again, when DOGE was causing uproar last spring, I remember hearing that cutting spending, even if fraudulent, would trigger a recession. Fiscal Dominance is inescapable. This time, I’m not hearing much recession fear, though I am sensing that people have a deeper awareness of how far the rot goes. I’m not sure if that’s naivety or a disbelief that anything will ever be done to stop the fraud. Maybe it's just that Trump can't afford a recession. He will print the money. I have no idea which way Bitcoin will go once the decision emerges, but I'm happy to hold it regardless. It is the only thing in the entire world that can't be debased.
