Last week, on my little drive trip, I randomly decided to go visit somewhere specific that wasn't en route. I literally took a left and drove 700km east. Looked around the town a couple of days and tried to meet bitcoiners to throw some ideas at. Had a meeting with a few people on third day and started a very long conversation on sovereignty, culture etc etc. Different tribes to a degree but very aligned. It was only once we looked on nostr, we realised we'd been connected since early nostr days! Gotta love pseudonymous and random events. It is fascinating to consider that the simple fact that our paths lead to using the same technologies means we question and learn along similar paths that inevitably lead to alignments across great distances and cultures. Says a lot for the expansion of perception of tribe in the digital age.
