Invest in experiences over material things. Life is too short to regret not traveling or trying new things.
my answer was that my dad taught me compound interest for finances. but I’ve since leqrned that every great thing in life comes from compound interest. and also to spend time with good people. A couple @naval isms

Stop following friends. Focus on your own life, and if friends come and go on your journey, then wonderful. But do not modify your pursuits and paths to waste your time following friends to unproductive means.
Mine would be: pick one skill and practice it on purpose. Roughly 20 focused hours gets you functionally competent, and elite performers stack hours daily for years. Practice still explains only about a fifth of who ends up best, so pick something you'd do anyway.

I would tell him to avoid pursuits where the downside could be death or ruin. Beyond that, I would encourage him to be curious and seek out as many new experiences as possible, until he finds something that truly ignites his soul. Then I would tell him to go as deep into it as he can.
The more of life he experiences, the more he will discover about who he is, what he loves, and what matters to him.

Second this. There are a few important lessons in "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". Namely the concept of assets vs liabilities, and how to tell the difference.
The problem is, the global elite are driving up asset prices, making near impossible to own anything anymore. Slowly turning the world into a rental economy.
So.... as soon as possible. Own land, grow your own food. Become independent from the system, or it will own you forever.
