GM.
Today I learned that "pussy" actually has a much different etymology than I might have expected, being a short form of "pusillanimous", adj, "early 15c., pusillanimus, "timid, lacking strength and firmness of mind," from Late Latin pusillanimis "having little courage" (used in Church Latin to translate Greek oligopsykhos "small-souled"), from Latin pusillis "very weak, little" (diminutive of pullus "young animal," from PIE root *pau- (1) "few, little") + animus "spirit, courage" (see animus). Related: Pusillanimously; pusillanimousness."
Pussy as a reference to female genitalia came late 19th century.

@ DagzTagz So uh, re: DagzTagz...am I just missing things while I comb through source file on these pages or is this just not ready for me to find anything yet? I'm about to turn into Charlie here asking various LLM's to tell me what key piece I just haven't found yet...
Listening to Rabbits is NOT making me less sure there's something there that I'm just not seeing yet.

GM folks.
I'm officially sick. Sort of what I get, I guess, for laughing when my sister warned us about coming to her flu-ridden house for Christmas ("I've never seen a germ I was afraid of", I said) but I can't say I regret it. Did 3 miles on the elliptical before bed last night, which was a nice reminder that whoever told people that bedrest is what you need when you're sick was a moron. As a Russian friend I had in college once said, lots of water, exercise, and a little vodka goes a long way. I held off on the vodka. but the water and exercise seem to at least have me functional for work today.
Hitting the yerba mate for a little extra octane on top of my Mud\Wtr and bowl of matcha. So far, so good.
