"Ragnar Thorseth (born 17 February 1948) is a renowned Norwegian explorer, author, and journalist from Herøy on Sunnmøre. He is widely recognized for his daring expeditions in small boats, including being the first person to row solo from Måløy to Shetland in 1969.

North Pole Expedition (1982):
Led the first Norwegian expedition to reach the North Pole over the ice using snowmobiles.

Circumnavigated the globe with the Viking ship replica Saga Siglar (1984–1986) and crossed the Atlantic in the Gokstad ship replica Gaia (1991).
Arctic Survival:
