It feels great to receive sats. Specially coming from a stranger.
Receiving sats means your post mean something. Unlike with usual social media that you just get a like.

⚡ Every zap is proof that a work truly touches someone. Bitcoin makes appreciation real. 🧡
The future of the creator economy looks like this: free content, voluntary appreciation, and value flowing directly via Bitcoin. ⚡

A zap is more than Sats—it’s appreciation made tangible. Every ⚡ tells a creator, "Your work mattered to me." That's the beauty of Bitcoin's Value4Value model: direct, global, and human. #Bitcoin #Nostr #Value4Value

It's because it has very few users, and because all of them are from a fairly narrow array of demographics. It's mostly cryptobros and political dissidents on here, many of whom are very aloof. You can't really have discussions or debates with them.
Fake news
This is one of the reasons why I wish that artists could get on Nostr, so that people can directly support their work. Sadly many artists seem to have a disdain for cryptocurrency.
A zap is an instant blessing by another pleb. There is nothing better and I haven't found anything similar on mainstream social media.
