When you're 26 and 23 years old and get married, you're in love, but you don't understand how the capacity of how love can grow and flourish over the years. Love seems too small of a word or perhaps the word love itself is too hard to describe. After all, love is a powerful emotion. It makes sense for it to grow just as your relationship grows and evolves over them. I truly don't know if I'd be here without Katie. She's my best friend, my life partner, and it's absolutely unfathomable for me to attempt to try to comprehend how I could exist in the same capacity as I do now without her, the cornerstone of my being.
