For full transparency: I always upload my videos one week before I publish them so YouTube can check for any issues. This was one of my Muay Thai docs in which I had a 2sec clip of a Thai cock fight.. Apparently since it’s against their community guidelines they simply removed it. Gladly I didn’t publish it and was able to reedit the video and publish one which is online now. But man.. this shit feds me up. Might need to invest more time in helping building a #nostr client for creators. Who should I talk to? Anyone wants to join forces?

If only there was a decentralized social platform with no control authority 🤷🏻‍♂️
What are they trying to keep safe? The people from seeing questionable content? Do they not notice what some of the most questionable content creators of YouTube are putting out? Your documentary was incredible, for the record. It shows that you put alot of effort into it.
NoStrudel is the perfect client for creators. it gives you access to the "other stuff" such as streams, videos, blogs, communities, badges, emotes. It's literally a business in a box for creators.
Be happy that you are not forced to use WeChat as your primary app each day:D
Well, that sucks but it's not as bad as I first thought it was. But good thing it gets you to help build alternatives :D
Thanks @🟠 isolabellart I’ll send you a DM and we can chat further! @Creatr is far from perfect and is certainly not a YouTube replacement but it’s a MVP we’ve built to showcase paywalled content on nostr through a relay (wss://creatr.nostr.wine) that works(ish) out of the box on most popular clients. The website is basically just a micro client example for subscribers/fans/viewers and a place for Creators to manage their files/posts.
Video podcasting isn’t anything new. I remember downloading video versions of TWiT to my 5th gen iPod Classic when it was new in 2006. Also most podcasts don’t need to be video but that’s a different discussion. Blubrry.com offers video hosting solutions for anyone interested.
Every day and with every endeavour we learn and understand what self expression truly means when we are compelled to fight for it.
Well, crap. Rumple is great for content openness but the UX isn’t ideal. What ideas do you have for solving this kind of shutdown now that you’ve tasted Nostr. What’s the ideal experience for your content delivery, monetization, and users? These are what I ask myself.

@Max DeMarco tools do exist right, i have several full length concerts and some music videos posted. I also maintain the video feed for the production podcast we publish. Still have yet to publish a single thing to YouTube, and the only community guidelines strikes I get are on other people’s shows when I’ve guested. Build an rss feed and attach a Lightning wallet, you’ll be cooking.

Remember that time when I thought YouTube was throttling some of your videos but it ended up being my own parental controls in the house 😂 Sorry to hear though! That is annoying.

I’m so f’in sick of YouTube. Their platform is garbage and they are absolutely beholden to the libtard censorship complex. They won’t let you watch any content unless you let them track you and watch a half dozen ads. F them. They pull down legit content for bs reasons and then make you watch a scam ad of an AI generated Michael Saylor. It’s just ridiculous.
Maybe an alt title of "The calm demeanor through time as a muay thai participant"?

what, which one. the Muy Thai fight?
Use RSS with the magic of Podcasting 2.0. It's xml, easy to learn but there are TONS of people willing to help if you ever need it. Fountain.fm became the first hybrid Podcasting 2.0 x Nostr app, so there will surely be more. I used Fountain to watch and stream sats to a live concert earlier this year.

Personally, I appreciate being part of a “community” of YouTubers… aka, the whole fucking world! community… 🙄
