-- I'm the main author of the protocol, all the base messages are built but it needs a connectionless p2p protocol, libp2p is what it currently uses and that's not gonna scale. I also didn't finish changing the message format to have variable length routing headers. I'm also open to arguments in favour of keeping them consistent because the codebase already has them.
